Although it took us more than a day to get there (- only – one might say) it was definately worth the effort. To cover the linear distance of a little more than 16.000 km / around 10.000 miles we had to fly Munich – London – Los Angeles – Papeete. Just to demonstrate how far it is: the trip wouldn’t have been any longer if we would have traveled east via Kuala Lumpur…
We planned three one week stops in French Polynesia: Moorea, Tikehau and Rangiroa. No surprise that all of them are famous for their diving spots 😉
